Furnaces without pilot lights rely on flame detectors. If your flame detector is covered in dust and dirt, your furnace will start blowing cold air due to a malfunction.

3. The Thermostat Set To On Instead Of Auto

Simple thermostat switch setting from On to the Auto will ensure the gas furnace in your home will only run during the usual heating process.
