HVAC and a Goldfish
This story is not a joke. It is a true story. If you want your goldfish to live a long and happy life, you should ask yourself can you keep a fish tank close to your HVAC system?
If you are passionate about aquaristics, there are many things you should take into consideration. For example, choosing the right heater. The right temperature in an aquarium should be between 77°F – 80.6°F.Since dog days of summer are upon us, we like to enjoy perfect room temperatures of 68°F – 72°F degrees, sometimes even lower. Who can blame us? But remember, if you have a fish tank, do not go below 60.8°F, it would not be good for your beloved pets.
So the answer is either you keep your thermostat at pleasant 72°F degrees, or you move your fish tank as far as possible from your HVAC vents.
