Is My AC Making Me Sneeze?
Do you suspect that the air conditioner is to blame for your constant sneezing? Maybe. That is the last place where homeowners will turn to address their sneezing or coughing. Unfortunately, your AC and the rest of your HVAC system could lead to an increase in allergy symptoms.
If you are ready to live comfortably with your air conditioning system, check out our tips for how to care for it!
1. Vacuum Your Home Regularly
Vacuum regularly and with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter. Because they are so efficient at removing air contaminants, these filters are used in hospitals, high-tech industries, integrated circuit manufacturing, in automobile and aircraft industries.
2. Change Your Air Filter Once In Six Months
That is important to do so if you are prone to allergies or if someone from your home has asthma. The HVAC cleaning experts recommend changing your HVAC filters at least once in six months.
3. Have the Ducts Cleaned
The final thing you can do to improve your indoor air quality is to clean your air ducts. The air inside our homes is up to five times more polluted than the air outdoors. Your air ducts can store lots of dirt, dust, and other allergens that could be causing you to sneeze or get sick generally.
