Choosing a Ductless Mini-Split

Summers can be pretty brutal, especially in Miami, Florida. So, if you don’t have some sort of air conditioning,  summer days would be hell for you. But what if your choices are limited? What if you can not afford central air conditioning or don’t have time to install it now. The most effective solution would be to install a mini-split unit.

It does a perfectly good job cooling you down. One fan collects warm air from the room, while the second part, which is refrigerant, converts the warm air into cool, using the heat pump.

This solution is cheaper and very practical for many reasons:

It is a very useful functionality. You can set your ac to work to a certain period time and it will automatically shut off, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off.

Ductless air conditioning has built-in air filters, which means better home air quality. The only thing you have to remember is to change filters regularly.

5. Easy to install
Because they need only 3 inch opening in the wall, mini-splits are easy to install. They are especially perfect for old buildings with thick walls that were not designed for ducts.
