How to Decorate Around Your HVAC Unit?

Xmas holidays are around the corner, the excitement is in the air. It is the time of the year when every window in every street is full of holiday cheer. There is a lot of joy during festive days, especially when it comes to decorating your home. When doing so, pay attention, you can very easily overlook your A/C or vent shafts. How to decorate around them? Here is a couple of advice.

Safety first!

Before you start decorating, keep in mind the following things:
1. Never block airflow around the equipment
2. Do not, in any case, use flammable decorations

You can always use Xmas lights. Quality once can be perfectly safe. Make sure that they are tested and approved. Also, you can check them at the licensed electrician, just in case.

As for the ornaments, we recommend once made of glass and plastic. Strictly avoid paper ornaments. Also, garlands around the air shafts can catch fire, so the best way to display your ornaments would be to hang them on a piece of wood.

Place the shelf above the A/C and display a bunch of festive figurines on it – gnomes, dwarfs, fairies, little Xmas trees. This decoration would look like scenery from the enchanted forest.
